'Who is the Poet?'

Who is the poet?

Is it one who writes,

Day or night?

Is it one who sees,

Beyond the mountain and seas?

Is it the one who knows,

The earth above and below?

Is it the one who must be richer,

Or is it from the ranks of the pauper?

Nay, the world is full of poets.

Poetry is a blessing,

From God loving,

And we must know it.

Everyone can be,
A poet by heart.
Poetry and poets never part.
They can be all including thee.
